ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the role of Confucianism in China's transition/reform process. Confucianization has appeared as a third voice in China's effort to reform. The concept declares that China's future should emerge from its tradition and should be constructed in accordance with the spirit of Confucianism. The greatest pressure in China's reform comes from the economic sector. Separation of the society from the state begins to emerge with the separation of government from the country's economic activities.
