The article provides information on the business of Singapore-based coffee bar chain Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as of May 2006. The company plans to open an additional 160 outlets worldwide at the end of the year. Its revenue has increased from $110 million to $250 million. Coffee Bean head Victor Sassoon formed a deal in 2005 to sell coffee at 320 deli counters inside Ralphs supermarkets in California and Nevada.
