ABSTRACT
The article features the Tamarack workstation laser system used by Tamarack Scientific Co., a systems integrator and laser job shop. The Tamarack laser system is a high power excimer laser used by the company in the patterning of high-density flex circuits. The systems is a one-step dry process configured for both reel-reel and roll-to-roll production. It uses a high pulse energy of the Coherent Lambda SX 315C that delivers 1050 millijoules at 308 hertz.
