ABSTRACT
Career developments involving school employees in the U.S. are discussed. 4 teachers have been selected from among 140, 000 entrants as finalists for the 1986 Teacher of the Year award. C. D. Spangler, chairman of the North Carolina Board of Education has been selected to replace William C. Friday as president of the University of Carolina system. The American Association of School Administrators has selected June Gabler, superintendent of schools in Fort Doge, Iowa as its 1st woman president.
