ABSTRACT
The article reports that the University of Arkansas System has approved the issuance of municipal bonds that would cover the cost of cancer research center in Arkansas. The proceeds of the tobacco bonds will finance a cancer center at the University of Arkansas Medical Center. The bond issue would be the second tranche of bonds securitized by the state's share of Master Settlement Agreement.
