ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) has issued an interpretative letter that describes the extent to which its rules apply to advertisement relating to 529 college savings plans in the U.S. The organization appears to have asked the MSRB about amendments the board made to its Rule G–21 on advertising. The plans would help parents earn money to pay for the college costs of their children.
