ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effects of the increasing interest rate of the London Interbank Offered Rate on the leading issuers in the loan bank market in the U.S. Amy Gibson, vice president of the high-yield group at 40/86 Advisors Inc., believes that issuers will be driven to the fixed-rate markets. They would be constrained to look for another options that would reduce their financing charges.
