DHS Delivers Radio Survey

The article reports that the United States Department of Homeland Security's Safecom Program has introduced a landmark survey, called National Interoperability Baseline Survey, that will help the federal government get its arms around a critical public safety issue. The survey will examine the capacity for communications interoperability among law enforcement, fire and emergency medical service agencies in the country. Safecom also plans to perform limited follow-up site visits to gather supplemental information from the public safety community.
