ABSTRACT
The article announces the plan of Illinois Finance Authority (IFA) to launch a competitive selection for financial advisers in Spring of 2006 in Illinois. According to Jill Rendleman, executive director of IFA, borrowers can still use the firms of their own choosing and the qualifying list will remain an open process. This move is intended to eliminate any surprises that could result to stall deal as it moves through the approval process.
