ABSTRACT
The article reports that Hawaii legislature sent four bond-related bills to Governor Linda Lingle. One bill authorizes the issuance of 556.6-million dollars in general obligation bonds. Another measure amends existing law on public works projects to require Hawaii's Department of Budget and Finance to report the issuance of special-purpose revenue bonds. Lawmakers also passed a bill authorizing 25-million dollars in special purposes bonds to help Tradewinds Forest Products LLC.
