ABSTRACT
The article discusses the progress and accomplishment in manual arts teaching. This is a survey of industrial arts at the junior high school in the Cleveland schools. The history of the development of industrial arts show many significant changes in this field of study. Industrial work has influenced the thinking, terminology and methods of general education. Manual arts is associated with public education but has affected the principles of every school department. The objectives of manual arts and the methods together with its importance are presented in this study.
