ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the hunts sponsored by the Armed Forces Foundation, which helped control the Texas Hill Country's deer population. The participants of the hunts were the members of the organization, Paralyzed Veterans of America, which cares for the veterans suffering from paralysis. The recently wounded U.S. Iraq war veterans also took part. The event started with lunch. The hunter and volunteers were then taken to ranches and settled in blinds suitable to their disabilities. They spent their evenings in restaurants. Some members also missed few shots.
