The article presents information on the search of City of Medford Contributory Retirement System for a fixed-income manager. The plan is to oversee a $6 million high yield portfolio. According to a document, the trust will accept proposals only from the firms that have at least $300 million in high yield assets under management. At present Shenkman Capital Management is the sole high yield manager of the firm that oversees a $5 million portfolio. If it meets its target bench marks there is chance for improvement also.
