ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the details of a report regarding the closure of the commission recapture and transition management units of Mercer Investment Consulting Inc. by March, 2005 in the United States. The investment consultants' transition unit named Mercer Transition and Recapture Services was established in the 1997 as an operating division of MMC Securities Corp. The decision can be viewed as the firm's commitment to put importance to the interest of its clients, particularly in a heightened environment of eliminating potential conflicts-of-interest.
