ABSTRACT
This article reports on the cancellation of the television program, Commander in Chief, starring Geena Davis, in May 2006. What transpired between September 2005, when the drama about the first female president premiered, and May 2006 was a shocking chain of events that led to one of the more spectacular flameouts in recent memory. Though ABC says the remaining episodes will air in June 2006, there is little chance it will return for a second season.
