ABSTRACT
The article offers information on Willis Group Holdings Ltd. which doubled its net income in the first quarter of 2006. The company has increased its net income from $67 million to $140 million which comes to 109%. Joe Plumeri, chairman and chief executive officer for Willis, in an analyst's conference, expressed happiness over the company's growth. Brian Meredith, an analyst for Bank of America, said that the results of the company were 3 cents more per share than his expectation. Plumeri said that all segments of Willis have done well, however he has indicated some issues related to the reinsurance side of the business.
