ABSTRACT
The article reports on an in-house Web design-and-build team developed by ITV ahead of the launch of its broadband portal, which will see its television channels broadcast via the Internet. ITV will leverage the Web expertise of acquired Friends Reunited in addition to the appointment of a number of external operational and editorial staff. The reorganization has already seen the departure of the broadcaster's product development director Kevin Gooding just 6 months after joining from broadband supplier Bulldog.
