The article reports that the Meridian Pictures Group, which is owned by businessman David Dong has ventured into the film business as it provided budget for the film project "Seven Swords," by filmmaker Tsui Hark. Meridian aims to become a major studio group in China. It has retained the Beijing division of the Creative Artists Agency to advise and scout projects.
