ABSTRACT
The article reports that the film "Keif al Hal," the first full-length Saudi Arabian feature, will be premiered at the film festival in Cannes, France. The film touches on the struggle between moderates and religious extremists in a family. Ayman Al-Halawani, general manager of film producer Rotana Audiovisual, said that the local audiences are thrilled to see themselves onscreen for the first time in spite of the ban on the showing of films in Saudi Arabia.
