'Code's' line riles Mideast Christians

The article reports that the film "The Da Vinci Code" will not be released in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt, according to the film's Middle East distributor Circuit-Empire. The campaign is directed towards the desire of authorities to not offend the Christian population. The novel by author Dan Brown, to which the movie is based, have been banned in all its translations after its release in Lebanon in 2004.
