ABSTRACT
The article reports on the indefinite delay in the releasing of the film "Mission: Impossible III" in China. The postponement in the film's release is caused by the displeasure of China on the way Shanghai was being depicted in the film. The Xinmin Evening News said that authorities may have been annoyed by the image of the city being depicted in the film and by the plot, which seemingly implies that criminal acts can go unnoticed by the Chinese police.
