ABSTRACT
The article reports on the top box office performers in Broadway theaters for the week ending May 14, 2006. The "Wicked" and "The Lion King" retained their customary place at the top and "The Color Purple" with 1,017,442 dollars total gross landed at number three. Also included are the "Jersey Boys," which was number three for the past two weeks but was pushed down to number four, while "Monty Python's Spamalot" retained the number five slot.
