Pirtle named SofaTrend president

Career developments involving executives in SofaTrend are discussed. Michael Larkey has tendered his resignation as president of SofaTrend, the fabric upholstery division of Robinson & Robinson. However, the company has promoted Bill Pirtle to succeed Larkey's position. Larkey, who has been in the industry for 30 years will leave his career in order to spend time with his family. In addition, Joan Harvey has been named as vice president of sales for SofaTrend.
