ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of the trends in prices of chemicals in Europe and Asia as of May 4, 2006. European naphtha posted an increase by $650 to 660 per tonne. Prices of ethylene range approximately from €900-920 per tonne. European benzene prices declined to $860 to 870 per tonne. INSET: STYRENE ACTIVE AS THREE BARGE PRICES EMERGE.
