ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the construction of a polycarbonate (PC) film plant of Bayer MaterialScience in Thailand. The company is also planning to build a PC compounding facility in southern China. The plant is expected to produce between 1000 and 2000 tonne per year. The PC blends business of the firm has been increasing at an average of 40 percent from 2002 to 2006.
