ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Export Plastics programme of Brazil that aims to help the country to compete with China and other Asian countries as a supplier of converted plastics products to Europe and the U.S. The logistical advantages of Brazil is one of the factors can be attributed to its capability to compete with other countries. The programme provides training initiatives and promote producers at trade fairs. There is a 55% increase in the export of converted plastic products by value in 2005. INSET: MERCOSUR-EU.
