ABSTRACT

The article discusses the teaching of sex hygiene in public schools. Every year, more city schools are devoting attention to the teaching of the subject of sex hygiene as it is not advisable to teach sex hygiene at home due to the busy schedule or the lack of knowledge of the parents of the students. The recent revelations of the magnitude of sexual passion and prevalence of venereal diseases have made most educators agree that sex hygiene should be taught in all public schools. At what age of the students should sex hygiene education begin and what to teach are some of the important questions that must be given careful consideration.
