The article reports on the benefits of Azusa, California from a recently launched pressure–driven membrane system at the Canyon Filtration Plant. The system optimizes footprint, energy use, and system recovery resulting in a lower cost per gallon of drinking water produced. The system also operates with a pressurized feed distributed among modules in each of the six skids.
