ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the impact of offering new media services to wireless network companies in order to improve their services and increase revenue, discussed at Telcordia's Elementive Conference in Miami, Florida. Daryl Dunbar, director of 21CN Portfolio Development for BT Group, implied that there are no guarantees of what media services subscribers prefer. According to Graeme Fergusson, director of Global Content Development for Vodafone, all carriers are expected to employ a dual strategy of on and off-portal offerings. Dunbar and Ferguson agreed that there will be changes in the value chain.
