A joint conference held in Mayflower Hotel in Washington on November 16 discussed the advancement in the publicity field of accurate information on the implications of atomic energy. The second meeting, sponsored by the National Committee on Atomic Information, elected 17 committee, which includes J. A. Simpson as Federation of Atomic Scientists representative.
