ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the California baskets that can be found at the Naprstek Museum in Prague, Czech Republic. The baskets were collected by Thaddaeus Haenke, a physician and botanist, which was mentioned in a catalog of the museum. The overseas collections of California baskets and other materials are listed in the book "Time's Flotsam," by Thomas C. Blackburn and Travis Hudson.
