ABSTRACT
The article discusses the demands of in-game advertising. McDonald's and Intel made a multimillion dollar product placement campaigns with Electronic Arts in the Internet version of The Sims. According to Jeffrey Dickstein, sales manager of Ubisoft Strategic Sales, the hard-coded placement which works in all platforms, should be the primary concern before a storyline since it is already integrated with the gameplay itself.
