ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Government Finance Officers Association's (GFOA) proposed derivatives checklist that issuers could use to make sure that they have all of the information they need before entering into a derivatives transaction. The GFOA is seeking public comment on the proposed 10-page checklist. The derivatives checklist was developed by a committee panel headed by New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority executive director Roger Anderson.
