Bloomsbury Aggressively Expanding Title List in '06 and Beyond

The article reports that British publisher Bloomsbury is expanding its publishing activities with the acquisition Walker Publishing in the U.S. According to Karen Rinaldi, Bloomsbury U.S. managing director and publisher, the company will put out 288 titles in 2006, with paperback reprints accounting 50 percent of the releases.
