ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Berlin Metals LLC has ordered a 60-inch wide, double-loop coil slitting and automatic slit coil packaging line from Braner USA Inc., which is scheduled for installation in late 2006 in the company's production facility in Hammond, Indiana. The slitting line was engineered to process surface-critical coated and bare carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloy. Berlin is involved in the processing and distribution of tin mill products and stainless steel strip.
