ABSTRACT
The article reports on a survey conducted by Key Financial, a financial planning firm in West Chester, Pennsylvania, which contends that of the consumers surveyed, not many could accurately define comprehensive financial planning, despite the fact that 70 percent of them worked with a financial planner. Many consumers believe that comprehensive planning focuses on retirement and investing, leaving out key issues like estate planning and insurance. This lack of knowledge results in consumers being underserved in these areas of financial planning.
