ABSTRACT
The article reports on the deal made by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group with BitTorrent.com for the access of its motion pictures and television programs online in the U.S. BitTorrent has been known for its technology that promotes online piracy. Together with the Motion Picture Association of America in 2005, the company tried to operate its search engine as a legal business by taking out copyrighted content. Warner Bros., however, has shows confidence over the company's aim.
