ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effort done by the executives of Vornado Realty Trust to amend the covenants on bond issues which will allow the company to increase its leverage. Approval of the amendment requires a majority of votes that is why Chairman Bill Harrison and his Vice Chairman Jimmy Lee are urging large investors to favor and is pursuing a consent solicitation.
