ABSTRACT
The article comments on a court ruling in April 2006 that prohibited a public school district in Pennsylvania from teaching intelligent design in biology classes. The federal judge ruled that the concept of intelligent design is actually creationism in disguise. A debate among educational circles has raged over the teaching of intelligent design, which advocates the existence of scientific evidence supporting the bible's account of the creation of life and the earth.
