ABSTRACT
The article reports that the insurance company VFIS will vote against Annex D, a supplement of the United States National Fire Protection Administration 1901 ruling, Automotive Fire Apparatus, because it disagrees with the removal from service of apparatus manufactured before 1980. VFIS asserts that converted vehicles must be removed from service. The Assistance to Firefighter Grant programs must give priority to replacing converted vehicles.
