ABSTRACT
The article features the Baddeck Public Library in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. The public library was established in 1981 with funds of 87 dollars by a person who bought 141 volumes of standard literature. At that time, the library committee appointed H. Percy as a librarian. The library officially opened for the public in February 1892.
