ABSTRACT
This article offers a primer on financial ratio analysis in managing a medical practice. The use of financial ratios is beneficial when comparing the performance of one practice to another or to the historic performance of the practice. Definitions are provided for several terms and phrases used in financial ratio analysis like bottom lines, equity and solvency.
