The article reports that Fox Cable Networks promoted Lindsay Gardner to president of affiliate sales and marketing in May 2006. Since May 1999, he served as Fox Cable's executive vice president of affiliate sales, leading all distribution and affiliate-marketing activities on behalf of various networks. Michael Hopkins has been promoted to replace Gardner while Michael Biard was elevated to the post of senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing. According to Gardner, one of his priorities is to expand Fox Cable's new-media offerings.
