ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase in the revenue and profits of family-owned media company Bertelsmann AG in the U.S. The company is still holding its contract with its major shareholder Groupe Bruxelles Lambert to enhance its business. Bertelsmann is considering on buying the 25 percent stake offered by the bank. The rise in its revenue can be attributable to its deals in TV, magazines and books.
