ABSTRACT
The article reports on the advice and warning given by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission chairman Deborah Platt Majoras to media companies that broadcast deceptive advertising. Majoras stated that the commission will identify and release the names of broadcasting companies that disseminate allegedly false advertisements. She also advised companies to assign a person in charge for reviewing advertising commercials.
