ABSTRACT
The article reports on the author's experience as a prisoner of the Sudanese government. The founder of the Sudan Social Development Organization, which monitors governmental human rights abuses, the author was taken from his home and held in jail with no lawyer and no charge. He was only allowed to speak with a representative from the government after undertaking a hunger strike.
