ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the sociological study conducted by sociologists at Western Illinois University in Illinois which aims to evaluate the relationship between trait and state of taking conflict personally (TCP) and to investigate how TCP manifests itself during actual argumentation. In obtaining data, researchers have coded each arguing behavior and compared it to the TCP measures. Considering the findings of previous research, researchers uses other variables such as trait TCP and arguing behaviors to predict how TCP is being perceived.
