ABSTRACT
The article describes the recording of country music singer Hank Williams III's double-CD album, "Straight to Hell," in the United States. While most country music artists demand polished audio tracks, Williams aims for vibe and personality. Williams and musical compatriots Andy Gibson and Joe Buck started recording in an east Nashville residence using a Korg D1600 digital recording workstation.
