ABSTRACT
The article presents news about the sound recording industry in the United States as of May 2006. Several sound recording studios have decided to make upgrades to boost their cash flow. A profile of Alexander Yuill-Thorton II of Meyer Sound is presented. The audio industry is lending its support to the 11th Annual Mix L.A. Open at the Malibu Country Club.
