ABSTRACT
This article studies the implications of field systems for teacher education. The practical relationship between science and technology is discussed in an attempt to lay a foundation for how teacher education may be impacted by field systems research. While the body of knowledge is sometimes extended by the practices of technology, educational research can be a source for practical technological applications.
